What is RESPOND CARE?
RESPOND Care is a fully bulk-billed, Nurse Practitioner-led mobile behavioural management service supporting older adults living with neurocognitive disorders – including dementia, mild cognitive impairment, delirium, and responsive behaviours, namely, Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia BPSD in both residential aged care homes RACH and the community. We cover Brisbane region as main catchment but can provide service via Telehealth.
Led by a Nurse Practitioner with specialist expertise in dementia and behavioural care, RESPOND Care provides timely, person-centred interventions through close collaboration with aged care staff, GPs, families, and allied health professionals. RESPOND Care brings advanced clinical leadership to the bedside and home, ensuring that specialist behavioural support is accessible where itʼs needed most.
